A pair of shoes can feel like a small thing—until you don’t have one.

Shoes protect health, support mobility, help children attend school comfortably, and restore a sense of confidence and dignity. For families facing financial hardship, essentials like footwear can be difficult to replace, especially when children are growing quickly or when medical needs already take priority.

That’s why the Guiribitey Family Foundation continues to invest in practical resources that immediately improve daily life.

800 Pairs of Shoes Distributed Through Trusted Community Partners

As part of our community support efforts, the Foundation distributed 800 pairs of shoes through trusted community partners—ensuring resources reached the people who needed them most in a safe, organized way.

Key distributions included:

  • 100 pairs delivered to the Niños de Cristo Orphanages, supporting children living in residential care

  • 300 pairs delivered to Centro Mundial de Restauración Familiar (CMDRF), supporting families and individuals served through medical and outreach programs

Why Footwear Matters

Footwear is more than comfort—it’s prevention. Proper shoes can help reduce injuries, protect against infection, support posture and movement, and ease daily routines for children and adults alike. In underserved communities, these basics often have a ripple effect: they support school attendance, help people move safely through work and daily responsibilities, and reinforce a sense of dignity.

By working through trusted local partners, the Foundation helps ensure distribution is respectful, equitable, and aligned with real community needs.

This initiative reflects our belief that humanitarian work is not only about large-scale projects—it’s also about meeting everyday needs with compassion and consistency.
