MEET OUR FOUNDERS

Taty Guiribitey, affectionately known as “La Mamilover,” is a philanthropist dedicated to community service. Born in Havana, Cuba, she studied Computer Science in Baku, Azerbaijan, before immigrating to the United States in search of freedom and opportunity. Since 2013, Taty has led humanitarian missions providing school supplies and food to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic.

Camila Guiribitey, with over 2.2 million subscribers on her YouTube channel El Mundo de Camila, blends a powerful digital presence with a strong commitment to philanthropy. Originally pursuing a career in dentistry, she has used her platform to lead humanitarian efforts including dental missions, community food drives, etc. In 2023, Camila co-founded the Guiribitey Family Foundation, expanding her impact both locally and globally.

Patricia Guiribitey, is a board-trained psychiatrist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, earned her medical degree from St. James School of Medicine, and completed a four-year residency in general psychiatry at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami.

🎄✨ Merry Christmas from the Guiribitey Family Foundation.

This Christmas season, we were deeply grateful to partner with @vouschurch for the I Love My City Toy Bash, serving our community here in Miami.

Together, we distributed over 10,000 toys to our neighbors and to local nonprofit organizations supporting children and families in need. 🎁🧸

Families were able to select up to three toys per child, and after the toy distribution, the celebration continued with inflatables, arts and crafts, painting and coloring stations, bracelet and headband making, snowman crafts, and so much more. We also shared food and treats including popcorn, cotton candy, hot chocolate, cookies, ice cream, treats for families to enjoy together.

This Christmas, we were honored to serve alongside and support the following organizations and community partners:

🌟 We’re so grateful to have amazing partners like @bfymiami who make our mission come to life! 📚✨ Thanks to their generous support, the Guiribitey Family Foundation has been able to provide over 5,000 books to small institutes across the Dominican Republic. These institutes offer English scholarships for children from low-income families who otherwise couldn’t afford these opportunities.

We’re especially proud to highlight the Dreams Come True Institute, a larger educational center where students in good standing and from impoverished backgrounds can earn real scholarships to learn English. We’ve helped set up little libraries in their classrooms so kids can borrow books, read at home, and return them just like a library in the U.S. would work.

As families prepare for back-to-school season, we’re proud to support the health and well-being of our community here in South Florida. 🍎📚✨

This week, the Guiribitey Family Foundation partnered with J.E.R. Church in Hialeah to donate a large supply of children’s vitamins, cough syrup, protein powder, and other essentials—helping kids start the school year strong and healthy. 💜

Queridos amigos, ayer, junto a un grupo de empresarios y seres queridos, nos unimos para recaudar fondos en apoyo a Valencia, afectada recientemente por la DANA. Nos sentimos profundamente agradecidos de haber contado con el respaldo de todos ustedes.

Un orgullo para la Fundación Guiribitey ver cómo su esfuerzo y sacrificio han permitido construir un patrimonio que se comparte con los más necesitados.

En colaboración con la Policía Nacional, abrimos el contenedor que ustedes hicieron posible y visitamos los barrios más vulnerables de la ciudad. También asistimos a dos programas de TV y un podcast para hablar de nuestra misión en República Dominicana.

Yesterday, Monday, the mayor of the National District of Santo Domingo presented our founder with a proclamation, naming her a “Distinguished Guest.” The Guiribitey Foundation is proud to see how her effort and sacrifice have built a legacy shared with those in need.

In collaboration with the National Police, we opened a container and visited the city’s most vulnerable neighborhoods. We also attended two TV programs and a podcast to discuss our mission in the Dominican Republic.

We thank everyone who made this possible.
