At the Guiribitey Family Foundation, we believe every child deserves more than just a nice moment in their year. They deserve to feel seen, valued, and remembered. That’s why, when we think about supporting children, we don’t just think about gifts—we think about dignity, presence, and community.

In 2025, we had the honor of partnering with VOUS Church as sponsors of Toy Bash 2025, an event dedicated to bringing hope and joy to thousands of children and their families through gifts, experiences, and activities created especially for them.

More Than Toys: A Message of “You Are Not Alone”

From the very beginning, our commitment to Toy Bash 2025 was clear: this wasn’t only about distributing toys, but about sending a deeper message to every child and every family present:

“You are not forgotten. Someone is thinking of you. Someone is showing up for you.”

For this year’s Toy Bash, the Guiribitey Family Foundation donated 9,707 toys, along with other essential event supplies, to help create a complete experience of celebration, play, and connection for families.

Every toy, every detail, and every activity were part of the same purpose: to give childhood back its space for joy and normalcy, even in the midst of challenging circumstances.

Impact in Numbers

Toy Bash 2025 was much more than a single day of celebration; it was a coordinated community effort to embrace children and families:

  • 1,821 people participated in the event, including children, families, and the serving team.

    • 391 volunteers and team members helped make Toy Bash happen.

    • 1,430 guests (children and families) enjoyed the full Toy Bash experience.

  • 19 nonprofit organizations also attended to pick up toys and bring them back to the children they serve in their own programs.

  • 9,707 toys were distributed, multiplying joy beyond a single location and reaching entire communities.

These numbers represent far more than statistics—they reflect stories, smiles, and moments that children will carry in their hearts.

Our Role in Toy Bash 2025

The Guiribitey Family Foundation’s participation in the event unfolded on multiple levels: material, human, and emotional.

1. Donation of 9,707 Toys

We provided 9,707 toys for children of different ages, making sure each child could receive something appropriate for their life stage and interests.

These toys were not just material gifts; they were a tool to:

  • encourage play,

  • spark imagination,

  • and remind children that they deserve moments of joy.

2. Logistical and Event Support

In addition to toy donations, the foundation contributed supplies for the event, helping ensure the experience was organized, safe, and welcoming for children, their families, and caregivers.

3. Volunteer Presence

Our foundation was represented by a dedicated team of volunteers who joined Toy Bash to:

  • welcome and accompany families and children,

  • assist with the distribution of toys,

  • support different operational areas throughout the event.

We believe that human presence is just as important as material support. That’s why our volunteers didn’t just “serve”—they also listened, smiled, played, and shared time with children and families.

4. Creative Spaces and Activities

Together with the organizing team, our foundation helped create special children’s activities and craft stations, designed to:

  • stimulate creativity,

  • provide a safe space for expression,

  • and allow kids to simply be kids, even if just for a few hours, away from stress and worry.

5. Visibility with Purpose

As part of the sponsorship, the Guiribitey Family Foundation logo was featured in event materials, and some of the most meaningful moments of Toy Bash 2025 were captured on video.

This visibility is not just recognition—it is a way to inspire others to join, collaborate, and replicate efforts on behalf of children and families in need.

Beyond Toy Bash: Supporting the Angel Tree Event

The impact of this donation did not end at Toy Bash. Thanks to the resources available, the Guiribitey Family Foundation also helped support the Angel Tree Event in Miami Gardens.

This event is dedicated to children whose parents are incarcerated—a particularly vulnerable group, often carrying invisible wounds and unanswered questions.

At the Angel Tree Event, children:

  • received toys,

  • and also a special letter from their mother or father in prison, reminding them that they are loved, remembered, and valued.

Being part of this moment meant more than giving presents; it meant helping to rebuild emotional bonds and offering comfort in the midst of a painful reality.

Why We Support Initiatives Like Toy Bash and Angel Tree

Events like Toy Bash 2025 and the Angel Tree Event remind us that:

  • joy is also a real need,

  • communities play a key role in protecting and uplifting children,

  • and every act of generosity can plant seeds of hope that last far beyond a single day.

As a foundation, we see these initiatives as a natural extension of our mission:

to walk alongside children and families through actions that honor their dignity and their future—again and again.

How You Can Be Part of This Work

The work on behalf of children does not end when the lights go out and the event is over. It continues in every gesture, every partnership, and every resource that is put at the service of those who need it most.

If you would like to support initiatives like Toy Bash, Angel Tree, and other projects of the Guiribitey Family Foundation, you can:

  • Donate, helping us continue providing resources and support to children and families in vulnerable situations.

  • Partner with us as an individual, company, church, or nonprofit organization in future programs and events.

  • Volunteer, sharing your time and talents in service to children and families in need.

Together, we can keep creating spaces where children don’t just receive help once, but where they can truly feel that their community is showing up for them—again and again.
