When minutes matter, access to emergency transportation can mean the difference between life and loss. That’s why strengthening hospital infrastructure is one of the most direct ways to protect communities—especially those who rely on consistent, timely care.

On June 30, 2025, the Guiribitey Family Foundation donated one fully equipped ambulance to the Hospital of Veterans in the Dominican Republic. This contribution was made in honor of Coronel José Maldonado Cardilogo, who tragically passed away in the Jet Set collapse.

This ambulance strengthens the hospital’s emergency response capacity—supporting veterans and extending help to surrounding communities that depend on fast, reliable transport during urgent medical situations. In moments of crisis, readiness isn’t optional. It’s essential.

At the Guiribitey Family Foundation, we believe dignity begins with access—access to safe systems, to timely support, and to the resources that allow medical teams to respond without delay. Investing in emergency infrastructure helps ensure that care can reach people when they need it most.

We are honored to contribute to the hospital’s ability to serve, respond, and protect—and we remain committed to supporting initiatives that create long-term, measurable impact in the Dominican Republic.
